01Chats, messages, memories, reports, and usage logs are stored to provide continuity, safety, abuse prevention, and billing controls.
02User-supplied provider API keys are encrypted server-side. Browser clients never receive saved OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, Redis, or database credentials.
03When product analytics is enabled, Nythera records signed-in interactions and aggregate usage to improve discovery and story continuity. These events contain identifiers and limited metadata, never message text, prompts, search terms, provider addresses or credentials. Raw events have a 90-day retention period. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable collection. Minimal milestone records prevent duplicate counting and are removed with the associated account or conversation.
04Production deployments should enable export, deletion, retention limits, and regional compliance workflows before opening public signups.
